The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.  Roll call was taken. All PC present except Hottmann, Schott.  Anding is acting chairman.  Schutte moved to approve the minutes of the July 28, 2014 meeting, Schmidt seconded.  Minutes approved. Schutte moved to approve on-site minutes of August 6, 2014, Nelson seconded. Minutes approved.


Askevold:   Three phases.  First one to get out of the flood zone.  Hartungs sold three acres of property.  First phase will be to build a pond within two years. Requesting to put an addition to Eddies house that can be saved. That will be in a year.  Second phase three years or more out.  New bar, restaurant, banquet hall, microbrew.  Third phase will be a motel.  Askevold bought 3 acres from Hartung.  Need to re-zone from Ag to B2.  Schmidt motions to re-zone 3.5 acres to B2 with a building site. Nelson seconded. Motion carried. It is a 60-year old business and the building site would be essential in later phases if motel is built.


Suksa Thao:  7303 USH 14.  Wants to raise 25 chickens and 2 pigs. Re-zone to AR1 from R1. Conditional Use for 25 chickens and 2 hogs equal to 1 unit.  Schutte motioned to re-zone to AR1 with conditional use for 25 chickens and 2 hogs. Nelson seconded. 


Tubbs:  have an existing driveway that is too steep needs to be improved.  The entrance off the road is the same and keep it within township standards. No permits needed. 


Quota 300 Ordinance discussion. 


Schutte motioned to adjourn.  Nelson seconded.  Motion carried.
