Nelson seconded.  Motion carried.  Schott did not approve.  Paid $1500.

Hinds/Viste:  Sugarland RB1 Needs an occupancy permit for the residence on RB-1 property.  Some questions on office’s and residences and the intent.   Didn’t get permits before building the residence on the RB1 property.  Building permit and driveway permit for residence on Sugarland.  No motion.  Issue fails for lack of motion.

Public Comments:

Pam Gauger/Wermuth/ Novak:  Part of committee represents getting info out on the school referendum.  Serving 150 less kindergartners than 9 years ago.  Classes in River Valley School District are shrinking.  Asking for money over 4 year period on the ballot.  9.35 million dollars.  Step Up:  Ask for what we need as we need it.  Will go up after the first year.  But mill rate will go down making the $100,000 home add to property taxes $133 first year to about $400 the fourth year,   Does not cover debt or capital items.  No maintenance in that number.  But should keep all schools open during that 4 years.  If the referendum doesn’t pass they will have to reconsider consolidating elementary schools.  Can contact Pam Gauger for the Arena Area.

Giffey:  ATC Community Letter.  Town Clerk is keeping signed copies.  The ATC proposed corridor has moved four times.  But it is all in the Town of Arena.

Hinds/Viste:  Sugarland RB1 Needs an occupancy permit for the residence on RB-1 property.  Some questions on office’s and residences and the intent.

Schutte motioned to adjourn.  Schott seconded.  Motion carried.

Adjourned at 8:30pm.

Next Meeting:  October 31, 2016.
